On July 8, 2026, Coos County Birding began its pre-release launch, marking the first day the new website was available at its permanent home on the web.

The pre-release period is an opportunity to build and refine the site while it is already available to early visitors. Coos County Birding is being created as a local resource for discovering birds, sharing sightings and photos, exploring places to go birding, and learning more about the remarkable birdlife of Coos County.

There is still plenty to come, but July 8 marks where it all began.
