Coos County Birding Begins Limited Rollout

Coos County Birding begins its limited rollout today, welcoming its first group of local birders to join, explore, and contribute.

Today, August 8, 2026, Coos County Birding begins its limited rollout.

After a month of building, testing, and refining the site, we're beginning to welcome a small group of local birders. This gives us a chance to see how the site works with a growing community while continuing to make improvements along the way.

Members can share sightings and photos, keep a personal Birding Checklist, discover places to go birding, and help build a useful record of the birds being seen throughout Coos County.

We're still getting started, and the community will grow gradually from here. Thanks to everyone joining us in these early days.
